apparently Knut is pretty valuable to German Zoos. Read the article and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The reason why i choose this was just to show the insane amounts of money that are placed into silly things like getting a polar bear to a zoo. I love polar bears, but 350,000 Euros?? That’s a shit load of money! It could go to something more productive like saving wild polar bears, as they have become a highly endangered species.

I was going through my dad’s flickr (he has quite the obsession of photoshop/photography and has about 300? photos on there) and mine, and I decided to put some up The kit, is Roo at 4 weeks old, nibbling on some dried flower petal.

This is the Royal Albert Statue, just opposite the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The other day Chloe showed the class the song “Another Sunny Day” by Belle & Sebastian, one of my favorite bands ever, and its so special that it has it’s own blog post

“If you’re feeling Sinister” is a particular favorite of mine, the lyrics (if you listen closely) don’t really match the music itself, which i love. I recommend any of you listen to it if you havn’t. I really love the beginning part, with the sounds of kids in a park running about…and the slowly increasing guitar…ahh yes.

I also really love “Waiting for the Moon to Arrive” I can’t even begin to describe it!

My brother said he’s recently gotten into it (now that he’s studying in Scotland he feels that he should *rolls eyes*)

Belle & Sebastian have a unique style, and after a couple of listens I can assure you that you will love them for life

I also suggest “the blues are still blue” and the music video is pretty cool too!
